We are seeking a dynamic individual who not only possesses a keen eye for quality products but also has the strategic acumen to drive success in a competitive market.This role is critical to our success and your key responsibilities are complex and exciting! You will have the opportunity to truly make and influence decisions that create value for our customers and drive commercial results.Your key responsibilities will include:Source, evaluate, and select a diverse range of home textiles including sheets, towels, bedding, and related products.Develop and execute comprehensive buying strategies to meet sales targets and stay ahead of market trends.Deep-diving into sales data, analysing trends, and drawing actionable insights. Regularly reporting findings to stakeholders, providing valuable information that shapes our business strategies.Thriving in a cross-functional environment where teamwork is the key to success. Working seamlessly with various departments, from design to marketing, ensuring a cohesive and compelling product offering.Work closely with sourcing and suppliers to meet our customers’ needsQualificationsHighly commercial, insightful and decisive in your thinking, you are passionate about your craft and have an innate curiosity for ‘how we can do better’ to provide the best products for our customers.Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills will be essentials to unlock collaboration, productivity and speed to market – this is key to our agile way of working! Your drive to contribute whilst taking ownership means you work effectively, both independently and collaboratively to deliver your best work and commercial results for the business.To be successful in this role you will have:Solid category management experience within retail and specifically within home textile categoriesExperience developing branded and own brand categoriesStrong commercial acumen, negotiation and analytical skillsA customer driven focus.The ability to trade utilising promotional activity and advertising to maximum effectCollaborative working style and excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skillsDecisiveness in a fast-moving environment as well as a resilient and driven natureStrong proven negotiation skillsThe ability to build long term sustainable partnershipsAdditional InformationCome work with us!
