This role is a key part of the country leadership team, requiring a deep understanding of the local business and healthcare regulatory environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of IT & Digital, Asian Area, to develop and implement IT and Digital strategies that align with business priorities.This role will drive the IT & Digital vision and strategy, supporting business change, developing operating plans, managing budgets, and implementing performance measurement standards. They will also be expected to stay abreast of technology, data and digital trends, see opportunities for innovative solutions, and manage a diverse team.Essential Skills/Experience:Experience of working and leading teams in a global organisation with complex/geographical contextExperience of leading business area strategyDemonstrable track record of motivational and achievement-oriented leadershipAbility to work well in and across diverse global TeamsStrong experience of developing relationships with senior internal customers and suppliersThe ability to influence at all levels of an organisationBudget management experienceExperience of programme managementExperience in changing new ways of working transforming culture (i.e. Agile, Design Thinking, Lean)Strong experience planning, deploying and maintaining Commercial IT capabilities especially Business Information, Digital channels and Field CapabilitiesStrong networking and consulting skillsStrong understanding of Digital Health, Martech, Generative AI and other Digital SolutionsEnglish language proficiencyDesirable Skills:Degree or relevant business qualificationExperience in the Pharmaceutical or similar industryExperience of developing partnerships with Digital and startup ecosystemsPlanning and delivery of Digital transformation capabilitiesStrong data strategy backgroundStrong track record of delivering Digital solutions with clear outcome metricsAbility to Identify and deliver POCs of innovative technology solutionsLeader within Pharmaceutical thought leadership networks and organisationsStrong business transformation mindsetAdvanced proficiency in strategic planning, change enablement and innovationAstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
