There is less time to correct manually and corrections turn out to be more costly. Our Compressor Technique Business Area has started the road towards a Global ERP, wherein eventually all existing data from our different Oil-Free factories will be loaded. Those data come mainly but not exclusively from our heritage BPCS-systems, based on local databases where Global Design-derived information is merged with localised content. In order to prepare ourselves for this challenging transformation, we are hiring a Business Process Engineer who will lead the necessary cleanup and define processes to establish and maintain transparency.Step into the dynamic role of Business Process Engineer where your impact will span across various critical functions within our organization. As a key player, you’ll be instrumental in coordinating and supporting cleanup projects, ensuring that our data structures are optimized and streamlined for maximum efficiency. Beyond just cleanup, you’ll be at the forefront of driving cultural shifts within our organization. Your efforts will be focused on fostering a culture of efficiency and transparency, transitioning from outdated practices to a ‘just what we need’ approach in managing production data. This shift will not only enhance productivity but also lay the foundation for a more agile and responsive operational framework. In addition to driving cultural change, you’ll establish robust data quality control measures aligned with our overarching data governance strategy. By defining and implementing standards for change management within our ERP system, you’ll ensure that processes are not only efficient but also transparent and adaptable to evolving needs.But your role doesn’t stop there. You’ll also champion data literacy among end-users, empowering them to navigate and manipulate data with confidence. Through the development of user-driven improvement programs, you’ll foster a culture of continuous enhancement, where every team member plays a role in optimizing our data management practices. As you continue to grow in your role, you’ll evolve into a Business Process Expert for Production process data, becoming a trusted advisor and resource for colleagues across the organization. Your involvement in workshops preparing for the transition to our new Global ERP system will be pivotal. Here, you’ll lend your expertise to ensure a seamless transition, contributing to the success of this transformative initiative. And as we embark on this journey, there may be opportunities for you to become a Single Point of Contact for specific domains during the data preparation phase, further cementing your role as a leader in shaping our data-driven future.You will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated international team in a challenging and very dynamic environment. As such you will be part of our internal project team responsible for Production data maintenance. You will report to the Global Projectleader.
The majority of your meetings will be during CET working hours. Apart from that, regular contact with China and India will be required during their working hours. - Degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, informatics or equal by experience
- You have practical hands-on experience in data governance and/or support
- You have strong analytical skills
- You are a teamplayer with good negotiation skill and are able to cooperate with different levels in the organization, with different people and cultures
- Good in project management and interested in change management
- Technical skills: SQL, PowerBI
