Job description: Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of the geographic Category Strategies and Sourcing Plans at the regional level for assigned categories; Main assigned categories: Transportation and Logistics Support;
- Execute Category Sourcing, Tactics, and Contracts – driving the optimal delivery of business requirements at optimal TCO;
- Apply business policies, standards, and platforms including the agreed Category and Sourcing Management methodology;
- Provide input on local supply market, demands, and forecasts, assess continuously market environment, and supplier base, and identify major industry trends and threats;
- Lead Sourcing Process (Tender, e-auction, Negotiations) within the framework of the Category and Sourcing Strategies;
- Monitor contract performance, and price variance and take appropriate corrective actions when needed;
- Collaborate with functional budget owners and work closely with the Category Manager, Procurement Centre, Global Procurement office, and other relevant stakeholders;
- Support any procurement-specific project (supplier portal, excellence program, etc.);
- Identify, initiate, and co-manage value engineering efforts, and innovation projects with internal teams and external organizations;
- Challenge existing ways of working to improve procurement results and efficiency, delivering procurement targets;
- Provide information for global/cross-zone sourcing and implement global and zone contracts;
- Track procurement results of the assigned area of responsibility and translate them into reporting structures.
Requirements:
- University degree/Masters degree;
- Analytical & financial skills enabling to understanding of Cost Models, Sourcing results, and financial and operational impact for AB InBev Efes;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written communication;
- Ability to impact & influence: able to influence business partners and suppliers as well as the ability to be assertive if required to ensure compliance with contracts;
- Problem-solving skills (Solution focused) & results oriented;
- Project management skills and a commercial mindset;
- High level of commercial awareness;
- Knowledge of Procurement processes, methods, and techniques, including negotiation skills, e-sourcing tools, and e-auctions is beneficial;
- Preferably knowledge of Transport and Logistics activities;
- Office tools in particular Excel skills and PowerPoint. Preferably knowledge of SAP, and ERP systems.
