They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic initiatives and long-term planning. Working closely with the executive team, they will identify exciting opportunities for growth, analyze market trends, and shape the overall strategy of Dangote Cement Plc.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and enhance profitability.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify emerging threats and opportunities.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans across the organization.
• Provide guidance and strategic direction to business units, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and industry experts to stay abreast of market trends and best practices.
• Lead and manage a team of strategy professionals, providing guidance and support to drive results.
• Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives to key stakeholders and the executive team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all strategic initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry developments and changes in the competitive landscape.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the executive team.

Requirements:Education and Work Experience

• We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• It is essential to have proven minimum of 20 years experience in strategic planning, business development, and corporate strategy.
• Prior experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Chief Strategy Officer or similar, is highly desirable.
