Because it’s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people’s lives.We are currently looking for consultants with strong ABAP development skills and proven experience in migration projects to reinforce our Data Management Team in Portugal.With Data Management being one of pillars of SAP Business Technology Platform, the role offers challenging and career enriching opportunities to work on cutting edge technologies and be a part of the digital transformation journey of our customers.Being a Data Management Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise;
  • Support solution design and configuration for specific solutions (on premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state of the art methodologies and standards;
  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go-Live of Customer implementation projects;
  • Development and realization of strategic initiatives like migration, data quality and data integration as well as data warehouse design, modelling and implementation for our customers;
  • Presales acumen, assisting in defining the scope of a project or opportunity, estimating efforts and project timelines;
  • Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and Customer Success;
  • Manage customer expectations and avoid any escalations;
  • Work on projects delivered across geographies and cultures;
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration mindset to promote knowledge sharing and ensure product adoption and consumption;
  • Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills;
  • Enhance skills beyond own core technical focus.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of project experience with strong focus on migration;
  • Experience in one or more of the following SAP Data Management solutions/tools: LSMW, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, Selective Data Transition (SDT), SAP Migration Workbench (MWB), SAP Conversion Workbench (CWB);
  • Strong programming skills on ABAP (mandatory);
  • Good programming skills on SQL and/or Python (nice to have);
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or similar degree;
  • Working experience in large landscapes, environments or customers;
  • Strong Customer focus;
  • Ability to work as a team player as well as independently;
  • Ability to coach/mentor younger colleagues into delivering quality projects and consulting services;
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (verbal and written);
  • Analytical, results-driven and have a solution-oriented approach;
  • Technical curiosity, innovative mindset and out of the box thinking;
  • Proactive, flexible, with a “can do” attitude;
  • Will to adventure and deep dive into new technologies.

Languages

  • Business English;
  • Conversational/advanced German or any other European language is an added advantage.

Working ModelHybrid model (3 days onsite / 2 days remote).
