If so, then you might be our new System owner for environmental reporting working as part of the Data and Analytics team of PSQIT Sustainability at Novo Nordisk.The positionIn this position, you will play a significant role in ensuring high quality Environmental reporting (the E in ESG reporting), hereby positioning Novo Nordisk as a sustainability leader among investors, regulators and other external stakeholders. You will join the Data and Analytics team, which is currently focusing on the E-reporting landscape, as the regulatory space undergoes a revolution with the introduction of new requirements such as CSRD and EU Taxonomy. As part of the Data and Analytics team, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Own the current environmental reporting system and drive (ensure) maintenance, change requests, automations, etc.
  • Take ownership of the control system setup on behalf of PSQIT translating and assuring an optimised and lean assurance control setup with guidance from our colleagues in Corporate Accounting
  • Support the E-reporting manager in timely reporting, including environmental data in the Annual report, external quarterly company announcements and internal reporting to executive management and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring and supporting audit readiness of E-data and liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Controlling and develop digital solutions and data software tools to ensure optimal data entries and analyses
  • Build up guidelines and procedures for control processes anchored in Assurance Connect and support the internal control questionnaires (ICQs) across areas in Product Supply, Novo Nordisk

QualificationsTo succeed in this position, you:

  • Have experience working with environmental sustainability, Financial Controlling, ESG reporting or as an ESG Consultant
  • Have experience as system owner and enjoy stakeholder communication and guidance
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree related to Engineering, Management, ESG topics, accounting/controlling, auditing or similar
  • Worked 3+ years within either system controlling/ownership and/or reporting/auditing and possess an interest in utilising your experience within the ESG space
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels in English

It is important, that you excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions to drive change and reduce environmental impact.About the departmentThe Data and Analytics team is part of the PSQIT Sustainability department and is anchored within the Product Supply, Quality and IT organisation of Novo Nordisk. The team has embarked on the journey of reducing the environmental footprint by using data and digital solutions to support decisions. The team is among other things responsible for the reporting of energy, water, waste and CO2 emissions from Production and distribution as well as developing state-of-the-art solutions to support therein. The team consists of highly skilled data analysts and scientists as well as business analysts who drive data analysis, insights and intelligence on the environmental sustainability agenda for our expanding production sites. Finally, Data and Analytics are owning the translation as well as execution of related metrics from the CSRD as well as the EU Taxonomy. At current the team is comprised of 14 people in HQ Bagsværd and 3 colleagues in Bangalore, India.
