The professional will be accountable for the financial consolidation, working in monthly end closings, providing information to executives with high exposition.It will also be expected for this person to collaborate with the global team along with day-to-day business (P&L) issues, providing details of the region, be a business finance partner of the business Leader and support the commercial team.What do we want to know about you?

  • Graduated in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or correlated areas.
  • Proven experience in international companies
  • Proven experience in financial planning (FP&A).
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and detailed-driven profile.
  • Highly motivated and proactive attitude with flexibility to respond to critical questions and challenging situations.
  • Ownership and empathy to understand business needs and find out solutions within our accounting and governance rules.
  • Optimize processes, automate routines, flexibility and openness to continuous improvement.
  • Advanced level knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent English communication skills – including the ability to speak to different teams such as product, engineering, sales internally and externally and HQ leaders

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead P&L level (Supermetal business) closing activities, driving transparency and predictability. Provide financial reporting on all aspects of business on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
  • Support leadership team and provide technical financial leadership in planning, leading all aspects of business unit budgeting, forecasting and Strategic plan;
  • Keep a pulse on the business through weekly reviews focused on Ebit and Cash key process indicators. Perform analytics of all variances, walks/bridges Budget to Actuals, YOY, Forecast to Actuals, etc.
  • Partner with Supermetal GM & Nordco CFO in developing business strategy by providing real time market and financial analytics.
  • Develop a true partnership with the s.chain finance team to drive VCP, deflation and margin enhancement activities. Explain variances on volume, mix, base cost, variable cost, project sales, margins, SGA, EBIT, working capital and cash from operation.

Improve reporting capability through financial systems improvements and process digitization; * Provide financial guidance and operational analysis to assigned staff functions;

  • Measure working capital and drive projects to improve it. Understand and drive appropriate trade-offs between cash and operations.

Lead communications to Headquarters and Regional Executives. Prepare presentations to HQ and Regional Executives. Strong interface with HQ, monthly and weekly meetings, and presentations. * Commercial finance: Work in cost roll ups, contract analysis, escalation formulas, supporting final price of products.
