You’ll be at the forefront of shaping the company’s pricing landscape, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of innovation. Here’s a glimpse of your key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for pricing activities, ensuring adherence to compliance standards. Craft and execute targeted Pricing Actions across diverse segments to proactively enhance profit margins.
- Provide expert pricing recommendations and actively participate in strategic and tactical negotiation planning and execution. Leverage your business acumen to optimize pricing strategies and contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Lead the training and career development initiatives for the Global Pricing, Contracting, and leadership team members. Foster a high-performing team that drives pricing excellence and innovation.
- Negotiate and influence internally to drive the adoption and experimentation of novel pricing structures and strategies. Spearhead the development of cutting-edge pricing models, processes, and their seamless deployment across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute comprehensive price strategies across both US and international markets. Understand and manage contractual commitments while aligning product strategies with pricing and contract strategies at the customer level.
- Provide ad hoc analysis on specialized projects under the guidance of BU or Enterprise leadership. Utilize your problem-solving skills to extract insights from historical usage data, customer profiles, and technology trends to shape pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with other business functions to identify and implement operational best practices regionally and within individual business units. Implement tools for aftermarket pricing automation and execute recommendations from recent pricing surveys.
Qualifications
- You’re a strategic thinker with a proven ability to lead multiple projects independently. Your results-oriented approach ensures the successful execution of pricing strategies aligned with the company’s growth goals.
- Your excellent business acumen empowers you to make informed decisions that drive profitability. You possess the ability to analyse market trends and customer behaviour to optimize pricing strategies.
- With over 7+ years of experience in pricing, sales, finance, or related functions, you have demonstrated your leadership prowess.
- A BS/BA degree is required, preferably with a concentration in finance, business, or marketing. An MBA is preferred and further solidifies your qualifications.
- Your ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel, underscores your commitment to fostering global relationships and driving international pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in both German and English is essential for this role.
