You will be accountable for driving the HR agenda, implementing the HR strategy with particular focus on ways of working, coaching, engagement and career development.You will provide a full HR generalist service and provide on-going support and advice on all employment related matters by applying an in-depth and up to date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice. You will lead locally on annual processes such as salary review, performance reviews and engagement survey.This is a standalone role whilst having the support of the global HR team based in the UK. This role provides the ideal opportunity for someone to build and develop a career in HR with the full support from Mulberry to achieve this.Duties & Responsibilities:Business Partner:– Work collaboratively with the central HRBP team to drive the HR strategy and lead and assist in all key HR initiatives locally.– Partner with managers at all levels to deliver value-added services that reflect the business objectives.– Understand business priorities and changing needs and implement HR solutions and best practices to enhance the organizational capability, focusing on employee engagement, talent and performance management, employee relations, HR systems, legal issues, and organizational change activities.– Actively partner, coach & develop managers to expand their people management capabilities and practices (e.g., coaching, career development, disciplinary actions, performance management).– Manage the tactical HR activities, including ensuring HR policies and procedures arecompliant with local laws; providing regular updates to the central UK team.– Through GLINT, monitor engagement and wellbeing levels locally, creating action plans to address and facilitate change initiatives.– Work collaboratively with the central HRBP team to resolve employee queries and issues as appropriate.– Track and monitor the functional headcount and wage cost; offer insights and feedback to functional leaders on proactive solutions.– Oversees the performance review process and reviews and advises management regarding action to improve performance and recognise and motivate exceptional performers– Help drive productivity and performance, using HR systems and analytics to understand business issues, trends and recommended course correction.Compensation & Benefits:– Lead monthly payroll, income tax, social charge, and relevant report/filing.– Propose salaries and request the salary approval for the new staff.– Manage annual HR budgets and headcount planning.– Manage new employee personal data collection (bankbook, ID, certificates, etc), entry & dispatch the data to payroll vendor.– Report income tax, part-timer income, and year-end tax in Korea national tax service.– Undertake regular benefits reviews, making appropriate recommendations to the central HR team.Recruitment:– To be responsible for managing the whole recruitment process:1) Resume screening.2) Arrange interviews with relevant department heads.3) Offer negotiations of compensation package.4) Onboarding arrangement.HR Operations:– Manage employee personnel files.– Handle salary letter every April.– Manage medical check-up annually.– Manage internal benefit programs.– Gift management for birthday, Chuseok and Lunar New Year.Learning & Development:– Ensure all new starters receive a Mulberry Brand and tailored induction.– Collaborate with the central Talent & Development team to shape development opportunities for the local team.– Provide insights on functional depth of talent; succession planning; resource forecasting; and actively drive talent management activities.– Lead the mid and annual performance review process.Brand:· Understand and demonstrate the Mulberry employee values and behaviours: Be Bold, Be Imaginative, Be Open, Be Responsible.· Support Mulberry to deliver an inclusive culture, through behaving in a way that is open-minded and respectful towards others, and understanding that your views, opinions and experiences may not always be shared by your colleagues.· Act as an ambassador for Mulberry and communicate positively about the brand.Made to Last:· Wherever possible, incorporate environmentally responsible practices into your work.
