As a HR Team Lead you will be leading a team of 10+ employees taking care of the operational tasks for People Development such as training coordination & facilitation, working on training programs rearrangements together with Learning Partners from Business Areas and Corporate Leadership Team, delivering requested reports to stakeholders, handling ad hoc People Development related queries through the ticket system. You will be working under supervision of experienced Team Lead and will have support in your responsibilities.This position reports toDelivery ManagerYour responsibilities

• Ensures the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of People Development process by monitoring execution, overseeing organization of the team and appropriately allocating work and assignments to individual team members, securing backup structure
• Highlights discrepancies and anomalies for correction and provide regular reports to GBS management
• Identifies, recommends, and assists in implementing best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains
• Ensures a positive working relationship with the team and with customers by measuring customer/employee satisfaction and building on them
• Shows a customer service mind-set and a proactive way of working to serve customers with a “can do” attitude when delivering HR service support to the HR community, managers and employees
• Fully manages human resource planning, selection, development and periodic performance review of team members
• Works on “team spirit”, cultivates friendly environment, integration and empathy
• Lives ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business

Your background

• Prior experience in a core People Development / Learning and Development role
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in People Development area
• Experience in people management would be advantage but is not required
• Ability to lead, integrate & grow multicultural team of 10+ employees
• Strong customer service orientation
• Leadership and coaching skills
• High personal standards of behavior and positive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure of time and to make quick decisions; time management and organizational skills
• Innovative and creative mindset
• Fluent English (oral and written)
