• In charge of Alcon China customs and CIQ operations to achieve smooth, optimal and compliant import and export process.
• Monitoring and ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness of customs operations based on KPI’s in terms of quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Effective & interactive collaboration between internal cross functions and external business partners（Service providers, customers, etc.）
• Ensuring cost are handled efficiently according to the contract.
• Working on customs operation related projects. Driving continuous improvement in process and shaping the process automated and reliable.
• Keep customs operations transparent with smart solutions.
• Response to internal and external audit and taking necessary actions to keep company compliance.
• Ensuring team’s operation is fully adhered to government regulations, ISO procedures/processes/working instructions.
• Manage group co-workers’ performance to ensure performance on the right track.
• Lead and coach the team, including on job training, knowledge transfer, operational problems/difficulties solving.
• Design and update SOPs timely for operation improvement or changes. Ensure the team fully understand & well-trained for SOPs.
• Prepare BCP plans for emergency, uncertainties and risks.
• Manage peak volume challenges and urgency priorities with smart integration & optimization of fixed and temp resource.
• Monitor 3PL service providers performance & governance to align with Alcon core values and standards.

job requirements:Experience

• At least 8 years import and export operation experience and 3 year’s management experience.
• Experience in Healthcare industry and MD&D industry is preferred
• Can write and read English in daily working environment. The fluent English skill will be plus.

Education

• College degree, preferably with background in SCM
