Our shares are traded on the SIX Swiss Exchange (SIX: MEDX).Job DescriptionThe Multi-Site-Head of operations plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations across multiple locations within the medmix organization. This dynamic position involves overseeing the day-to-day activities of various sites, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety standards, optimizing efficiency, and driving profitability. The Multi-Site-Manager Operations will collaborate with site managers and their teams, implement strategic initiatives, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization. They may also act as a local Site Manager with additional responsible for all the aspects of managing and optimizing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, safety, productivity and profitability of a specific site while overseeing others.Responsibilities:1. Oversee daily operations across multiple locations (Switzerland, Germany), ensuring that each site adherers to the organizations standards for safety, quality, service and performance. The incumbent may also act as a local site manager and will own these accountabilities for their local site in addition to the overseeing other locations.2. Play an active leadership role on the medmix operations leadership team and engage with stakeholders/employees at all levels.3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability across all their sites.4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align site-specific goals with the organization’s overall strategy.5. Align closely to the business segments the sites serve.6. Develop and manage budgets and financial performance of each site, set individual targets in alignment with the global overall strategy, analyze variances and take corrective actions as needed.7. Embrace and deliver a culture of continuous improvement focused on all areas of safety, quality, cost and delivery.8. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, mitigate risks and address any compliance issues promptly.9. Own the operational elements of the S&OP process for their particular sites and ensure optimized level of inventory to deliver growth and excellent customer service.10. Deliver an agile supply chain and manufacturing footprint that allows for growth, mitigates business risk with appropriate capacity and provides a high level of reliability and repeatability.11. Ensures execution of strategic manufacturing footprint and other business critical projects.12. Works closely with the business to ensure effective industrialization and launch of new products.13. Embrace and invest in advanced technologies to drive automation and improve transactional processes.14. Engage with employees, develop talent and invest in training to enhance skills and knowledge.15. Representation of the site(s) for internal and external audits, as well as customer visits. 16. Embed sustainability throughout the supply chain, from raw material to end-of-life disposal.17. Set clear environmental goals and take action to reduce energy consumption, waste generation, and carbon footprint.18. Encourage ethics, social responsibility, diversity, and community engagement across the sites.Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business administration or a related field
  • Proven experience in site-management and/or multi-site-management of at least minimum 8 years, preferred within medical device
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of implementing successful operational strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Strong technical knowledge across relevant processes and products
  • Proven unterstanding in Lean methodologies and other process improvement tools and techniques.
  • Languages: English, German – Business Fluent level
  • Traveling 20-40%
