As a Project Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing our Portfolio, which includes the digital portfolio tool, portfolio data, and all related reporting and visualization. Your key duties will involve overseeing the progress of the entire portfolio and ensuring its optimal functionality.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the portfolio management process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Developing and implementing portfolio management frameworks, tools, and processes to optimize project selection, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Monitoring and tracking portfolio performance, providing regular updates and reports to senior management, and serving as a trusted data reporting advisor.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new project opportunities, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic direction.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance portfolio management practices.
As part of this position, your primary responsibilities will be to support the local project managers to ensure high-quality project reporting and provide guidance on project governance. You’ll also lead monthly governance meetings with senior management to promote transparency throughout the portfolio and facilitate decision-making related to larger projects.
Moreover, you will play a crucial role in digitalizing the portfolio follow-up tools to enable efficient and effective tracking and reporting of project progress. You will also have the opportunity to provide insights on how the portfolio governance can be optimized.Qualifications
We are looking for someone with practical knowledge of how to drive a Project Portfolio and who thrives in an ever-changing environment while keeping the high quality of their work.To succeed in this role, you have:
- A MSc Degree or equivalent within business administration, finance, project management, or a similar field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within portfolio management, preferably in a global organization, successfully managing large and complex portfolios.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, and preferably in Danish as well.
- Proficiency in portfolio management tools and methodologies, coupled with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint Excel, and PowerBI.
