Job description: Job summaryAdecco’s client – A global leading manufacturer of industrial automation products, specializing in cutting-edge solutions for factory automation and process automation applications looking for Senior Process Engineer that specialise in plastic molded plastic part.Job ResponsibilitiesNew Product Introduction:
- Conceptualize, develop, and implement production processes for new products within the Product Engineering Process (PEP) and Product Transfer Process (PTP) projects.
- Ensure the timely release of production processes while meeting quality and cost requirements.
Technology Leadership:
- Lead and own two production technologies:
- Molding Technology: Injection Molding, Over Molding, Hotmelt Molding, Connector over-molding, etc.
- Cable Harnessing Technology: Cut & Strip, Crimping, etc.
- Act as a Process Engineer during PEP/PTP projects and serve as the Local Technology Owner (LTO).
Product Group Ownership:
- Lead and own two product groups:
Molded Plastic PartCable/Connector
- Serve as the Local Product counterpart for Production, Business Unit (BU), Innovation Unit (IU), and Research & Development (R&D).
Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP):
- Lead and participate in Improvement Projects (CIP) on demand, driving continuous improvement in production processes and technologies.
Regional and Global Collaboration:
- Participate in and deliver results for projects at the SEA regional level.
- Collaborate on Global Projects as needed, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
Experience requirements7+years of experience in process engineering within the industrial automation or related industry.Expertise in molding technology, specifically in Injection Molding, Over Molding, Hotmelt Molding, and Connector over-molding.Proficient in cable harnessing technology, including Cut & Strip and Crimping processes.Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering results within specified timelines.Education requirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.Join us and contribute to revolutionizing industrial automation with your expertise and innovation in process engineering.
