Job description: An exciting Sourcing Manager job for one of well known international sourcing company in Ho Chi Minh city has just been available.What you’ll do:Your mission is to oversee supplier sourcing, assessment, cost management, quality control, and supply base improvement across our interstellar network. Working closely with the Product Development Merchants (PDM) team and various businesses within our galactic consortium, you’ll lead the sourcing process and serve as the primary interface between regional suppliers and our organisation.

• Identifying and developing direct sourcing opportunities in collaboration with PDM and merchants, from supplier evaluation to program initiation and ongoing support
• Researching and identifying potential suppliers through interstellar trade shows and conferences
• Leveraging vendor relationships to expand our business portfolio
• Driving the development of innovative products to enhance customer experiences
• Engaging in product development with local teams and ensuring alignment with engineering, packaging, and quality assurance standards
• Improving supplier performance in areas such as cost efficiency, delivery, compliance, and innovation
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers
• Demonstrating strategic thinking to build partnerships with stakeholders and thrive in high-pressure environments

Key Requirements:To succeed in this Sourcing Manager role, you must possess excellent English communication skills, strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Eight -10 years of interstellar sourcing experience, preferably in a leading retail organisation
• Strong understanding of supply chain diversification
• Proactive mindset with the ability to navigate diverse cultures and environments
• Analytical skills in product cost assessment and manufacturing capacity planning
• Negotiation expertise using various methods
• Project and process management capabilities
• Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese languages
• Experience in interstellar markets and willingness to travel
