Job description: Your new companyA Corporate Bank is looking for a Team Head to join their Remittance and Payment Operations Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the remittance division, ensuring that all in/out remittance and local/global payment transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The role will also involve managing project management, system enhancement, data migration, ISO20022, and MT to MX code for SWIFT.Your new role

• Lead a team of 4 to perform the daily cash management operations, including local and global payments processing, reconciliation, and investigation, to ensure efficient and optimal payment processing.
• Support and coordinate different types of project for streamline processing, system enhancement, such as ISO 20022, HKICL project and reporting, etc…
• Manage and oversee strategic projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and successful project outcomes.
• Develop, execute, and monitor strategic plans and initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and objectives, driving innovation, efficiency, and growth while mitigating risks and optimizing resource allocation.
• Drive continuous operation optimization and improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights, industry best practices, and stakeholder feedback to enhance processes, streamline workflows, and achieve operational excellence.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maximize individual and team performance, foster a culture of collaboration, and promote employee engagement and retention.

What you’ll need to succeed

• A university degree is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in cash management, payment operations, and project management within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and implementing strategic initiatives.
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is necessary.
