This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team in the development of cutting-edge renewable energy projects, with the potential to expand into wind energy initiatives.Your Job

• Management of the project development team for solar pv and battery storage projects in Sweden, with possibility to expand to wind
• Overall responsibility for development of Swedish project pipeline from origination to financial close
• Participating in land acquisition, permitting, grid design and techno-economic optimisation of the projects as required
• Overall responsibility for development budgets, schedules, and project deliverables
• Developing relationships with landowners, permitting authorities, grid operators, advisors and other relevant stakeholders
• Coordination of internal collaboration between the local development team, Nordic regional management, and colleagues at Berlin headquarters and globally

Your profileAt least five years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects in Sweden * Proven track record in the development of large-scale renewable energy projects

• Expertise in securing land and grid capacity, as well as land use planning and permitting
• Good understanding of the business model and market dynamics of renewable energy development

Master’s degree with technical or business focus or equivalent training * Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork skills

• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in English and Swedish is required
