Job description: Reports to: Director, Wholesale – EMEALocation: Field Based NationwideYour Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Technical Representative for the Nordics (Norway – Sweden – Denmark – Finland), you enhance the in-store shopping experience by creating shop pro brand advocates using recommender marketing techniques, executing product clinics, and experiential training events.This role is field based nationwide in the Nordics and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be within reasonable driving distance of one of our showrooms in Stockholm or Oslo and our key retailers and must be able to travel up to 80% of the time within the local market.Meet Your Future Team:The Commercial team is accountable for delivering sales through all channels. We meet the guest where they are shopping and ensure Arc’teryx is represented consistently and at its best. As the retail landscape changes, we will work together to evolve our approach with creativity and teamwork. \nIf you were in the Technical Representative – Nordics role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Creating and delivering engaging and educational in-store training sessions at targeted key accounts that will develop product experts within the store staff
- Delivering presentations that will elevate staff engagement and create loyal in-store advocates for our products, programs and consumer initiatives
- Supporting the execution of in-store displays, materials, and updates while properly merchandising all tools with products for world class visual appeal
- Bringing to life experimental training events & programs that deliver WOW experiences and creates passionate brand advocates at key and premium specialty accounts
- Training and coaching Territory Managers in key areas of recommender marketing principles and practices to drive advocacy
- Partnering with key account doors and specialty premium partner doors in the territory to deliver dealer driven consumer events that drive trials and conversion for the retailer
- Continually updating of key in-store brand stories, product call outs on shelf, recovery merchandise techniques
- Repositioning slow moving goods and minimizing stock outs while elevating sell out
- Working in-store (retail days) during key selling moments, new store openings, tent sales etc.
- Supporting larger national or regional brand sponsored events like Alpine Academy, Climbing Academy, Backcountry Academy as needed
- Reporting back to stakeholders key findings of sell-out, sales trends, product trends & consumer trends to help build effective sell-in / sell-out actions for future seasons
- Managing travel expenses and local marketing budget as assigned

- Working closely with the Community Marketing team to identify new guests to bring to the brand
- Informing and helping build new commercial strategies to evolve in the spirit of Arc’teryx values
- Training and coaching future Territory Managers in key areas of recommender marketing principles and practices to drive advocacy
Are you our next Technical Representative – Nordics ?
- You have a minimum 1+ years related work experience with a specialty retailer, national retailer or brand retail store within the outdoor industry
- You have B.S. or B.A. in Business, Marketing or Related Field or visual merchandising specific education programs
- You have strong knowledge of technical product and strong interpersonal skills (ability to communicate clearly and effectively; problem solving, team work, solution oriented and customer focused)
- You have outdoor industry or Sporting Goods experience and a passion for the outdoors
- You are fluent in English and local language skills
- You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You have a strong understanding of retail marketing, visual merchandising, and retail math
- You are flexible with scheduling and available to work within retail store hours, which may include day, evening, and weekends
- You have valid driver’s license and show proof of driving record upon request and you’re able to drive in adverse weather conditions
- You are able to lift at least 25 kilos
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
